Obituary of Kathie Lynne Klonglan

Kathie Lynne Klonglan, the daughter of Daniel L. and Dianna G. Kelly, was born April 11, 1973, in Newton, Iowa. Kathie graduated from Newton Senior high School with the class of 1991. She went on to receive her associates degree from Marshalltown Community College in Early Childhood Development. Kathie worked in childcare and customer service. She most recently worked in management at Adventureland Park in Altoona. Kathie enjoyed attending country music concerts and sporting events with friends and family. She especially loved attending Iowa Wild hockey games with her son Trevor. She also loved her dogs. Kathie died on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at her home in Newton. She was 48 years old. Kathie was preceded in death by her father. Those left to honor Kathie's memory include her son, Trevor; her mother, Dianna Kelley; her brother, Dan Kelley; her aunt and uncle, Dennis and Barb Maddy; her aunt, Debra White and several cousins.
