Viola Marie Reynolds, 83, the daughter of William Cecil and Reatha Nadine (Osborn) Adams, was born January 23, 1938, near Mingo. She graduated from the Monroe High School, Class of 1956.
On March 9, 1957, Viola was united in marriage with Bob D. Mohler. To this union two boys were born, Mike T. and Kelly D. Mohler. She had devoted her life to her family, and was employed by Wal Mart. She attended the Newton Cowboy Church. Bob would precede her in death.
She as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. On January 23, 2000, Viola was united in marriage with Francis "Butch" Reynolds.
Viola passed from this life on Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021, at her home in Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Bob; a grandson Ryan Mohler; a brother Virgil in infancy; a brother Norman; and a sister Grorene Masters.
Viola is survived by her husband Butch; her children: Mike T. (Bobbie J.) Mohler, Kelly D. (Leeanne) Mohler, Darla (Jeff) Sudbrink, Tonda (Ed) Eilander and Herbie (Brenda) Reynolds; her twelve grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sister Janet Smith; her sister-in-law Evelyn Mohler; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A time of remembrance and funeral services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Visitation will be one hour, 10am until 11am, prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Viola's family or a charity of your choosing.
