William Roy "Will" James, 50, the son of Winston Roy and Betty Marie (Walls) James, was born October 20, 1970, in Newton. He graduated from the Lynnville-Sully Senior High, Class of 1987. Will passed away on June 9, 2021, at his home in Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his aunts: Bonnie Trimm and Ruth Walls; and a nephew Dustin Henning.. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Sunset Park in Newton. The Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Will's family, or to a charity of your choosing. Will had attending several different churches in the Newton area over the years, enjoyed the internet and computers, and a member of SCA (Society of Creative Anachronism. He loved the Dallas Cowboys Football team and was active in Renaissance celebrations. Those left to honor Will's memory include his daughter Sabrina Louise Gooding, of which he was always very proud of; a brother Travis (Kathy Mick) James; his sisters: Jackie (Kevin) Gooding and Donna G. (Daryl) Soderblom; his many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his many extended family and friends.
