Friends like Pat don't drop into your life often. She was a good and loyal friend. We spent many days together with our children and evenings playing cards. New Years Eve was for dancing. Pat and Mannie were like quicksilver on the dance floor. I loved watching them. New Years Day was for gathering at one of our homes for chili and oyster stew. Until Mannie's job took him out of town we were almost stuck together with velcro. I missed them so much and I will miss my dear friend "Patty." God speed my friend, I love you.
