Obituary of Kathleen Kay Bechel

Kathleen K. Bechel Kathleen passed away Monday evening, March 8, 2021, at MercyOne Medical Center Newton. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Jasper County Church Of Christ in Newton. The Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. {Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facemasks are required.} In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of sympathy, memorials may be designated Kathleen's family. Kathleen Kay Bechel, 69, was born March21, 1951, in Newton, the daughter of Wendel J. and Mary Jane (Duncan) Fink. She was a graduate of the Newton Schools. Kathleen had devoted her life to her family and friends. She was employed as a Nurse Aid in the hospital and Home Health Care. Kathleen is survived by her family and friends; her two daughters: Nevada Bechel and Julia White; her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
