I remember Karen from when we went to school and what a super nice person she was. Just watching her & John you knew it was something that would last forever. My brother Mike & John were very good freinds and I graduated with John's brother, Ed, so I feel like I've known them all forever. I am so sorry for the loss they are feeling right now. Did not know Karen well, but had known John for many years. She seemed really nice when I had met her and I know it will be a great loss for her family and friends. If I had known earlier she was in the hopital here in Iowa City, I could have taken time to see her or John before as I am in the hopital here also(although at Mercy, for cancer surgery).
