Obituary of Carlo C. Supino

Carlo C. Supino, the son of Carlo J. and Beverly Ann (Vander Leest) Supino, was born May 3, 1958, in Newton, Iowa. He graduated from the Newton Senior High School with the class of 1976. He later received an associate degree from DMACC. On October 2, 1982, Carlo was united in marriage with Carol Ann Hardenbrook in Newton, Iowa. Carlo worked for Midwest in Kellogg for 32 years. Following its closing, he went to work as a custodian for the Newton Senior High School. Carlo was former president of the union while at Midwest. He enjoyed bowling, comic books and watching tv. Carlo died on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 61 years old. Carlo was preceded in death by his sister, Christina Supino. Those left to honor Carlo’s memory include his wife, Carol Supino; his son, Samuel Supino; his parents, Carlo J. and Beverly Supino; his brother, Timothy Supino; his sisters, Theresa Rudsell, Wendy Supino (Tommy Breese), Annie (Chris) Mielke; his many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and a great-great nephew. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated in Carlo’s name and may be left at the funeral home.
