Obituary of Wanda Jean Mills

Wanda J. Mills Wanda went home to be with her Savior on July 17, 2017, at Accura Healthcare of Newton East. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be 1:30 p.m.; Friday, July 21, 2017, at the Newton Salvation Army Citadel, with a visitation an hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Wanda's family. The Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. Wanda Jean Mills, 70, was born August 20, 1946, in Newton, the daughter of Wendell J. and Mary Jane (Duncan) Fink. On December 29, 1969, Wanda was united in marriage to David LeRoy Mills in Newton. She was a homemaker, had devoted her life to her family, and also delivered the Newton Daily News for many years. She enjoyed NASCAR, reading, and visiting with family and friends, and was loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Wanda is survived by her son Michael Mills and daughter Michelle Oswalt, both of Newton; her three grandchildren: Sarbrina, Christina and Marcus; a brother Kenny Fink; her sisters: Robin Heck, Diane Mills and Kathy Bechel; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and many good neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Robert Dean Talbot Jr., and her husband David on January 5, 2015.
