I and Irene, my wife, were on many Vernon trips together and enjoyed being together with Harry and all the others. We brought our 2 kids on a lot the trips. One fond memory I have is when Harry would get in the swimming pool and throw Alexandra, my young daughter at the time, off his shoulders. He did that every year afterwards till.... she was too big. God bless you, Harry, and your loved ones.

Dear Teresa and Family, Both of us will miss Harry and all of the good times that we shared. Whether on the golf course, boating, or just sharing a lot of laughs over a brew ski , he was always fun to be with. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
With recent injuries we will not be able to join you for the service.
Take care.

We were saddened to hear of Harry's passing. We were lucky to have known Harry and benefited from his humor and work ethic and to enjoy a cocktail and stories. Harry was a genuinely nice man and we pray for his passing and his family in their grief.

Teresa,
My heart aches for you and your loss and the grief you will experience. I know you are a very strong woman and have wonderful support from a few special people in your life.
I was privileged to know Harry when I started my career in 1988. We developed a great friendship that continued to grow throughout my career and life. I was fortunate to be able to hang out with Harry on many of the Vernon trips along with Paul and my adult kids. They all know Harry. I was also very fortunate to have shared my lake place in Mn with Harry, Teresa and others from Vernon.
He introduced me to Tia Maria Stingers!
I still have Dewars Scotch in my liquor cabinet from his last trip to the lake.
I visited Harry in February and knew he was frustrated with his current quality of life. I am sad for those of us left behind but happy for Harry as I know he will continue to impact others in his next phase of eternal life.
We love you and will miss you HH.

Harry was a dear friend, a mentor and a co-worker of mine for 20 + years. His sense of humor was phenomenal as was his zest for life. He seemed to excel in everyhting that he set out to do. I have many, many fond memories of my times with Harry.
He will be missed! My heart goes out to Teresa and the rest of his family. Blessings to you all.
May he rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Harry in high school and often hung out with him shooting hoops or bowling. He was a good bowler, and he was quite a character. I have fond memories of those times.

Teresa please accept my condolences. For nearly 50 years Harry's friendship was dear to me. I have so many fond remembrances of our times together as a golf partner, my wife, Linda's, tennis partner, and too many social gatherings to count. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and how uplifting he was. Rest in peace My Good Friend

I met Harry in 1992 when I started working for the Vernon Company. I always looked forward to seeing him. We had so much fun on our incentive trips and so many laughs. I was glad I got to sit with him for a short period of time last year while he was at the hospital. I remember being in Bermuda and we were going to dinner. He asked me, who said we had to get dressed up? I said Don Dobson. He then asked, can you put my socks in your purse? I don't want to wear socks as it's nice out. I said sure. When we got to the restaurant, Harry decided instead of giving me his socks, he threw them up on the restaurant roof. About 10 of us went and had dinner. When we were asked if we wanted desert, Don's wife said I will order for everyone and we can share, we all said sure, not a problem. The desert came, and they placed one covered tray in front of Harry, he said, I didn't order desert. He took off the cover and looked at the desert, got out his glasses and said, THOSE ARE MY SOCKS!!!! (We didn't know Don gave someone money to get on the roof and get his socks). We all got a laugh watching Harry look at his socks covered in chocolate, whipped cream and strawberries. May he and Don have desert together in heaven.

WOW!!!!!! So sad to hear of this today. Without Harry, I know I would not have lasted going on 30 years in this business.
He was a true friend, extremely knowledgeable, and a very caring individual. Totally exemplified someone to look up to and learn from. Rest in Peace Harry, you will be missed! Thank You for helping to form my career in this industry.

We are so sorry for your loss and send our prayers to the family. Harry hired me 27 years ago for the Vernon Company and I am still employed there. It was a blessing that he bestowed upon me. We enjoyed many laughs together over the years. May he rest in peace but have a heckuva good time in heaven - as he was always fun to be with. I miss him always calling out to me "HANSON!" Hugs to all
