Dearest Marsha, Mary Ann, Mark and families, Our families of Tom and Dot Botsford are sending our thoughts and prayers to you all at this time. We feel your pain on the missing links of both parents. They were a very special generation of gentle folks that loved and served their families and country. They were a generation of grit, determination, dedication, hard working and loving folks. They showed their love and how proud they were of you kids. We will hold your families in thoughts on Wednesday as you lay your father to rest. The pain on earth will be balanced with celebration above by your Mom and all that had gone before him. Now all four of our parents are dancing once again. May you feel their love in those moments of tears and remember the joyful memories. I remember them being ports in a storm a few times as we crossed Iowa and had car troubles. We always enjoyed the times we stopped for our "Newton family" lunches trekking across Iowa. Our family will send a Memorial in memory of Uncle Francis to the Veterans home in Marshalltown as directed. What a great way to celebrate the Veterans! God Bless you All! Marsha, Mark, Mary Ann, Calvin and I are so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was quite a gentleman and he will be missed by many. We know you have so many memories of your dad. So sorry to hear about your loss. Your father was such a wonderful man! Gentle and kind are the two words that come to mind when I think of Francis. He never seemed to mind when this pesty, little neighbor girl would come over to chat when she would see him tinkering in his garage. Happy memories of the entire Moore family. Blessings to you all. Francis was a great man and we are happy to have had him at NHCC. We spent a lot of time together, along with his significant other, Betty. Together they brought us a lot of joy and laughter. We hold him in our hearts and will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

Mary Ann and family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Francis. He was kind, fun, and a good person. Always knew how to make me laugh. Sorry to hear of Francis. I was able to have a dance with him at the Moose about 2-3 years ago. And long ago we shared the love of dancing at our Palo Alto Grange Hall. I knew Allen and Alta Moore also from the Grange and such fine people. My parents thought a lot of all the Moores. May you find comfort in all the memories you have in the future. Sue Moffitt-Winter
