I miss and love you very much. It has been a year now without you here. You don't know how many times I have reached for the phone to call you with news or just to say hi, and then remember I can't do that any more. I've wanted to scream come back momma I need you, but then I remember you are happy now without any worries and you deserve that rest and happiness. So momma R.I.P. and we will see each other again. Love and miss you

To the family of Loretta,
Jeannie was my dear cousin who opened her home and her heart to me 50+ yrs ago. She was a very loving Mother and was very proud of all her children and grandkids! I will never forget her and will always have lots of memories especially of her and Butch. They were both characters with lots of love and laughter. Family time in the Shutt household was full of good times, good cousins and laughter. I fondly remember the green house on Forest street.
Lots of little redheaded cousins there and of course Jeannie, or Loretta as she preferred to be called. In my heart she will remain Jeannie.
With love and prayers to all.

I'm so sorry I never met Loretta as an adult.. I was my Dad Butch's first child.. I was only 2 when my parents divorced and 5 when I moved to Seattle with my mom Janet Oldham Shutt.. My daughter was only 3 mos old when she met her grandpa and 3 when he passed and even though my Dad was gone my mom always told me that if there was anything I ever wanted to know I should ask Loretta (my mom thought highly of her back when she was 19) but now I'm 52, my daughter is 16, my aunt Loretta has passed and I miss my dad more than ever.
It warms my heart knowing she was loved by so many and had such tremendous joy that her family most definitely provided.

Mom I already miss you, You were my rock. U were such a good role model. I want to thank you for raising us seven kids. I know you gave up so much to do it. You had a beautiful soul. When people tell me I look like you I say thank you. Cause you are beautiful on the outside too,
Mom I know I can never live up to your standards But I sure am going to try. Thank you for being there for me when my husband and son passed away. Like I said you were my rock.
I love you and always will. Tell al my family that I love and miss them.
You will always be in my heart.
