Trenton Michael Brady, the son of Michael and Jolene (Ehler) Brady was born September 10, 1999, in Des Moines, IA. He was a student at Newton Senior High School and was looking forward to his senior year.
Trenton was a young man full of life and a great love for family and God. He was a member of the Mingo United Methodist Church and active in the RUSH youth fellowship group, as well as the Youth Downtown youth fellowship group in Newton.
He loved sports intensely and was always there for his teammates. He was a member of several school teams including football, track & field, weight lifting, and rugby. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting deer, turkey and pheasants, as well as artifact hunting. He had completed the Criminal Justice college internship through DMACC and had been accepted into the Fire and Emergency Services Program to begin training as an EMT or fire fighter. Trenton was an outgoing and positive spirit, sharing his love of the Iowa State Cyclones and New England Patriots, playing games, and hanging out with family and friends.
Trenton died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, due to an automobile accident, just shy of his 17th birthday. Those left to honor Trenton’s memory include his parents, Mike & Jolene Brady of Kellogg, IA; his brothers Ethan, Austin, Colton, Benjamin, Kaden and Lincoln; his grandparents James & Patricia Brady of Polk City, IA; Frank & Betty Ehler of Kellogg, IA; his uncles and aunts: Margaret (Jim) Cope, Drakesville, IA; Mary (Andy) Snetselaar, Polk City, IA; Martha Moore, Polk City, IA; Jim (Dena) Brady, Vermillion, SD; Diane (Dan) Lahr, Katy, TX; JoAnn (Kirk) Rasmussen, Arvada, CO; JoEllen (Dennis) Dodge, Yuma, AZ; Jonathan (Kimberly) Ehler, Greenfield, IA; many cousins; and friends he considered as close as family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13th at the Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton. A time of visitation with the family will be held Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Memorials may be designated to the Michael & Jolene Brady Family Memorial Fund and may be left at the church or at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home.
