Dear Dennis, Martha and family-
I was very sorry to hear that Doris passed away this week. I enjoyed my visits with both Doris and Jack when I was in Newton. Through a mutual friend, I found out that Doris and I were distantly related (through marriage), so it was fun to talk with her about that. Doris was a sweet lady and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet her.
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and your family.

Doris was a great lady! I loved talking to her about the old days and her dressing up for her job. We always laughed at the fact that she knew who was coming down the hallway by the sound of my high heels! I will really miss her.

I have many fond memories of Doris. She work in my grandpa Keith's jewelry store when I was quite young. She used to call me Karen Sharon when I would go there to see my Grandpa. Then, when my folks moved to an apartment next to her and Jack we became acquainted again. As my folks aged, she would look in on them every day to see if they were OK and if they needed anything. They were a blessing to my brother, Bruce, & I through those years too. May her family feel peace and comfort at this time knowing that she is at rest.
