Obituary of Tanner Uriah Ward

Tanner Ward passed away Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2015, at the home of his parent’s in Reasnor.
A Time of Fellowship and Remembrances for Tanner will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Stoney Point Barn, South of Reasnor. A time of Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be in the Hewitt Cemetery, East of Reasnor. In lieu of flowers memorials have been designated in Tanner’s name.
Tanner Uriah Ward, 17, was born May 24, 1998, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. He was the son of Darin Lee and Leigh (Dearinger) Ward. He had attended the Iowa Connections Academy. Tanner was a lifelong resident of the Reasnor area. Devoting his life to his family and friends. He enjoyed drawing, skateboarding, baseball, the outdoors, hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed all of his adopted animals and his talent to talk to them.
Those left to honor Tanner’s memory include his parents Darin and Leigh Ward of Reasnor; his grandparents Pat and Al Ward of Newton, Mary and Bill Sellers of Monroe, and Brian and Jacque Dearinger of Yukon, OK; his uncles and aunts: Dan (Mary Miller) Ward, David and Mindy Ward, John and Tammy Ward, Amanda Neal, Ryan Dearinger, Chris and Jody Dearinger and Caleb and Bobbi Sellers; and his many friends.
Tanner was preceded in death by his Uncle Joel Ward; and his great-grandparents: Clifford and Peggy Dearinger, June and Blake Carnahan, Elsie Green, his Uncle Uriah Sellers and his Uncle Nick Sellers.
I love God, I love my country. I love my guns. I love my family. I love the way it is now, and anybody that tries to change it has to come through me. That should be all of our attitudes. Cause this is America, and a country boy is good enough for me.
