Obituary of Charles Roger Fuller

Charles Roger Fuller, the son of Roger Lee and LaVerna Maxine (Gearhart) Fuller, was born December 26, 1950. Charles graduated from the Mingo High School with the class of 1969. On June 21, 1969, Charles was united in marriage with Diana Christine Price. Chuck worked for John Deere in Ankeny as a laser operator. He enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR, and Karaoke and was a big Jimmy Johnson fan. Chuck died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 near Mingo, Iowa. He was 64 years old. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, his wife, Diana on September 22, 2007. Those left to honor Chuck’s memory include his sons, Shane (Kristi) Fuller of Norwalk and Charles “Charlie” (Nicole) Fuller of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Alex, Allison, Audrey and Anthony; his mother and step-father, LaVerna (Layman) Cornelison of Ira; his sisters, Jonnie Hagan of Baxter and Cindy Kintz of Maxwell; a sister-in-law, Tammie (Joe) Butterbaugh; his step-brothers, Terry Cornelison of Boone, IA, Dalt Cornelison of Florida, Lance “Buzz” Cornelison of Stanhope, IA; his step-sister, Hope (Reggie) Caudle of Elsworth, IA; his seven nephews and two nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, July 11th at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated to the Union Chapel Cemetery in Ira.
