Dear Family, our deepest sympathies for losing a most outstanding son, brother, and family member. I remember when Joel was born and thinking his name was so cool. To those of us who grew up around him, he was indeed cool and so much more. He was so smart, witty and lit up a room with his robust personality and creative flare. He was also contemplative and reserved, yet could grace the stage with such boldness and presence! I have many fond memories of Joel and your whole family growing up. I so regret that I don't get to see him one more time. Joel, we honor you with love and such good memories. You are worth the world!
