Obituary of Sean Forrest Postma

Sean Forrest Postma, the son of Jerry and Kaye J. (Kingery) Postma, was born September 29, 1963, in Newton. He was a graduate of the Baxter Senior High, Class of 1982. Sean was employed as a scheduler for Marzett's Frozen Pasta, for 23 years. On June 28, 1997, Sean was united in marriage with Sherri Wallis in Colfax, Iowa. He devoted his life to his family. Sean enjoyed music, the Minnesota Vikings, the outdoors, holidays, making people laugh and Life in general. Sean died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at his home in Colfax. He was 51 years old. Sean was preceded in death by his mother, Kaye J. Postma on September 20, 2010; his grandparents and one aunt. Those left to honor Sean's memory include his wife, Sherri; his dad, Jerry Postma; his sisters: Kirsten Brown and Gretchen (Les) Hall; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susan and Chester Wallis; his sister-in-law, Amy (Daryl) Catlett; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
