Funeral Services for Cinderella “Cindy”, will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, with Pastor Gary Marzolf conducting the services. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be at the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Cinderella’s name have been designated.
Cinderella Jo Moore, 64, the daughter of Kenneth Robert and Betty Jo (Gordon) Crawford, was born August 21, 1950, in Des Moines. She was a graduate of the Newton Senior High School, and attended one year at Central College in Pella.
On August 28, 1971, Cindy was united in marriage with Samuel A. Moore in Newton. She devoted her life to her family, and attended the First United Methodist Church in Newton.
Cindy died Wednesday morning, January 14, 2015, at the Newton Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth; her step father Leonard Carlsen; and a brother in infancy, Robert Michael Crawford. Cindy will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Those left to honor Cindy’s memory include her mother Betty Jo Carlsen of Newton; her husband Samuel Moore of Newton; her daughter Elizabeth Noel Schultz of Ankeny; her sons: Forrest Newton Gordon Moore of Marion, Kenneth Michael Moore of Colfax and Perry Weston Moore of Boone; her grandchildren: Mary Beth McKinney of West Des Moines, Forrest Mitchell Moore of Marion, Marissa Rochell Moore of Marion, Hannah Grace Moore of Colfax, Ryan Michael Moore of Colfax and Sierra Marie Moore of Colfax; and many friends.
