This is so late but Jeff told me about Junella just a few days ago. I am so sorry to hear about Junella but what a full, fun and fantastic life she had. Wayne and I had many good times with Burt and Junie. Still have our golf picture together in the old country club bulletin. My heart goes out to you, Jim, Jeff, and Julie. Your parents were special people to Wayne and I when we were "Newtonites"! Never dreamed we would become southerners let alone be buried in the south. Life can change in a hurry so enjoy every minute. Please accept my very belated condolences. Barbara Creagan

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Junella until very recently. I can see from the photo and memorial that she was a truely beautiful person inside and out. We need more people like her on this earth; she will be missed.

Junella was a beautiful woman! I remember many holidays (especially Thanksgiving) where we would all be together. Junella was smart and always had beautiful clothes, jewelry and her makeup was perfect. We will miss her. Love you Junella!

Dear Julie, Jeff and family,
I had the honor to know Junella for about 30 years. To say that Junella was unique would be a huge understatement. Just being around her was always such a joy and it was because of her awesome personality as she seemed to just light up the room with her presence. I remember the first time I met them at a function in Telemark Lodge in Wisconsin. What fun. I will always remember them as Burt and Junella as they were always together. What a great pair they were as when they were around fun was in the air.
Great people and a great family. I literally love them.

Jim, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I always remember your mom as a beautiful loving woman. I remember visiting with your folks while at your house when we were kids. I always had a great time at the little gatherings you hosted while we were in Jr. High. Hugs.

Our family lived next "door"to Burt and Junie, on "The Hill" in Newton for many years. Junie was lovely inside and out, always had a cheery smile and friendly welcome to those who knew her. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend, and touched all who knew her with her kind smile and cheerful chuckle. I remember her telling me that when she was in high school, she would sit at her mother's feet and her mother would tie her hair in rag curlers and all who knew her thought she had the most beautiful naturally curly hair.
Condolences to Julie, Jim and Jeff and all their families,
Kind regards,
Nancy

Dear Julie, Dwight, and family,
Junella has always been just an amazing woman to me. I have known her for over 32 years when our families were joined due to your marriage, Julie and Dwight. I remember Junella with sophistication and talent. Seeing her pieces of art in your home was astonishing to me. Junella was quiet and reserved and always beautiful in the Royal Blue. Being together with the Livingston family for years at the yearly Thanksgiving Feast in Omaha was just quite the celebration! Always much fun with the laughter and love radiating from all of you! I know you will miss your Dear Mother and family member. Have good memories and remember all the lessons she taaught to you through the years. Losing a parent is so very difficult and losing your last parent even more so as you are now. Know that Dana and I have you in our prayers! Love you all and God Bless. Sue (Johnson) Hockensmith

Jim, Jeff and Julie, I still think so fondly of your parents. My dad and mom were great friends with them and had many, many good times. Not the least of them, their times together vacationing in Florida, Charity Balls, the Newton Country Club and probably a lot I didn't know about. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your mother. Do you think maybe your Dad, my Dad and now your mom are somewhere in the sun having a cocktail and laughing.
