Obituary of Joyce Dunn

Joyce Dunn, 76, of Newton, was born April 2, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Harry Robert and Edna Mae (McFarlane) McCaughey. 

  There are no funeral services planned for Joyce at this time.  The Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, is handling the local arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Arthur Rodriquez (Joyce’s Fiancée) or to a charity of your choosing. 

  Joyce was employed as a housekeeper at area motels, and for many individuals.  She devoted her life to her family and friends. 

  Joyce died Wednesday afternoon, December 13, 2023, at her home in Newton.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Kelly Beadle; a grandson Dillon Cupples; and a sister Judy Nevitt.

  Those left to honor Joyce’s memory include her Fiancée Arthur F. Rodriguez; her son Jack Beadle; one daughter; her four grandchildren: Destiny, Drake, Sydney and Jeff; several great-grandchildren; a sister Jenny McCaughey; and her many extended family and friends.
