I remember Joan so well. She was one of my Mom’s (Ella Mae Cathlina) friends and co-workers in the Purchasing Dept. at Maytag. When my Mom passed in 2017, Joan was at the visitation and we had a great conversation. God bless her family and friends.

Mary and Marty, I am SO SO sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a good friend when I sat in front of her for 5 years when I began working at Maytag. I loved spending time with Bert Joan and family. I’ve been told that if I didn’t get my way, I may have been a stinker… my favorite show to watch at Bert and Joan’s was Betty Lou and the Magic Window, with characters like Katrina crocodile (thus my nickname). I love being called Katrina still today. I am so thankful to have been blessed with all the love in remembering the good ol days.
