Obituary of Jane Marie Grimm

Jane Marie Grimm, 89, of Newton, Iowa, passed away on March 12, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1935, to Russell Patterson and Rosa Schultz and was a lifelong resident of Jasper County. Jane graduated from Newton High School and dedicated many years of service to Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax, Iowa.
She is survived by her son, Bob Philby of Flemington, MO; her sister-in-law, Kathy Patterson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters Doris, Julia, and Lois, and her brothers Kenneth, Donald, Ralph, and Raymond.
There are no services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be designated to Pence-Reese Funeral Home, in her name, to assist with burial expenses.
