Obituary of Becky Sue Webster

Becky Sue Webster, the daughter of Thomas Eugene and Opal (Alloway) Lester, was born April 5, 1953, in Newton, Iowa. She attended Newton Senior High School.

Becky married John Webster on December 28, 1989, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Becky worked as a cashier for Thiessens in Newton, Iowa. She was a member of Cowboy Church in Newton. Becky loved her family, and time with them was precious. She enjoyed reading romance novels, bingo, playing the slots, gardening flowers, bowling, butterflies and diamond art.

Becky died on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home in Newton. She was 71 years old. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John on March 23, 2023; her son Jason Taft in 1980; and her sisters, Rita Cooper, Rosalie Brammer and Bonnie Geerlings.

Those left to honor Becky's memory include her sons, Russell (Kelly) Callison, Kelly Taft and Nate Webster (Jade Miller); her grandchildren, Russell Callison, Jr. (Macolie Neff), Jerrica (James) Pietz, Gavin McVey, Zachary Lambertus, Trayton Finch, Jayda Finch and Faith Taft; her eight great grandchildren; her brothers, Butch Lester, Gary Lester, and Keith Lester; and her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be left in Becky's name (Please make any checks payable to Russ Callison) and may be left at the Pence Reese Funeral Home.
