Wilma G. Anderson Wilma Anderson, of Kellogg, passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, March 23, 2017, at Skiff Medical Center of Newton. Wilma Grace Anderson, 95, was born February 20, 1922, near Newton, the daughter of August “Gus” and Elise Evelyn (Stevens) Grunhaupt. She graduated from the Newton Senior High School, Class of 1939. Wilma was employed by JC Penny’s, retiring after 30 years of services in 1990, as the Receiving Clerk. Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She enjoyed her family and her neighbors, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newton and the Richland Grange. Wilma is survived by her son Dale Anderson of Kellogg; her daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Ron Rowley of Ft. Worth, TX; her grandson Ronnie Rowley and great-grandson August; and her many good neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Walter Grunhaupt. A time of remembrance and celebration of life will be 1:00p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Pence – Reese Funeral Home in Newton, with a visitation an hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Newton First United Methodist Church, Kellogg Fire Department or a charity of your choosing. The family invites you to join with them for a time of fellowship and coffee time in the Pence Tribute Center at the funeral home, following the committal services.
