Lynn Ann Blatterbauer Newton Lynn Ann Blatterbauer,, 63, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at her home in Newton. Memorial services for Lynn will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Deacon Dan Goetz of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, conducting the services. There is no visitation with the family planned. In lieu of flowers memorials in Lynn's name for the Jasper County Animal Rescue League, may be left at the funeral home. Lynn was born July 22, 1953, in Newton, the daughter of Carl A. and Mary Eileen (Bell) Blatterbauer. She was a graduate of the Newton Senior High, Class of 1971. Lynn was self-employed in the home health care industry. Lynn enjoyed reading, movies, her cats, and was of the Catholic Faith. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers: Mark E. Blatterbauer and Scott A. Blatterbauer. Those left to honor Lynn's memory include her brother Kirk Dalton Blatterbauer of Newton; and her good neighbors and friends.
